Highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 was confirmed in poultry near Ravensthorpe, Kirklees, West Yorkshire on 11 June 2025.

Following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance within the zone near Ravensthorpe, Kirklees, West Yorkshire (AIV 2025/45), the 10km surveillance zone has been revoked.

Following successful completion of disease control activities and surveillance within the zone near Ravensthorpe, Kirklees, West Yorkshire (AIV 2025/45), the 3km protection zone has ended and the area that formed it becomes part of the 10km surveillance zone.
