Detail of outcome
The Low Pay Commission鈥檚 2024 report was published in January 2025. The report, which sets out the rationale for the LPC鈥檚 recommendations to the Government, summarises the evidence received in this consultation.
Minimum wage rates increased from 1 April 2025. The new rates are set out below:

Consultation description
The Low Pay Commission (LPC) is the independent body which advises the Government on the levels of the National Minimum Wage (NMW), including the National Living Wage (NLW). We are seeking input to shape the recommendations we will make to the Government this autumn, on minimum wage rates to apply from April 2025.
On 30 July 2024, the Government published an updated remit for the LPC. This replaced the remit originally published in March, which was the basis for our consultation. We鈥檒l communicate with stakeholders soon on what the new remit means for our evidence gathering and recommendations.
The National Minimum Wage rates in force from 1 April 2024 are as follows:
