Between 17 February 2025 and 14 April 2025, we consulted on鈥痶he proposed Plant Varieties and Seeds framework for precision bred plant varieties in England, including the proposed Precision Bred Plant Variety List for England, and the provision of information on precision bred seed and other plant reproductive material.鈥�
A total of 425 responses were received, of which 411 were submitted through the online consultation response form hosted on the , and 14 were received by email.

Consultation description
We want to know what you think of our plans to introduce a new framework for precision bred plant varieties in England.
The framework includes a precision bred plant variety list for England for precision bred agricultural and vegetable plant varieties.聽 We want to understand how the proposed variety list will impact businesses and other organisations.
