Kyrgyzstan Small Projects Programme: call for bids 2025 to 2026
As part of our Small Projects Programme, the British Embassy Bishkek invites proposals for project initiatives in Kyrgyzstan for activity until March 2026.

Objectives
We welcome bids for project initiatives to contribute to any one of the following objectives:
-
Support civil society’s constructive engagement with public institutions and contribute to inclusive civil dialogue. The maximum project budget for proposals is £15,000. Activity should start and finish between October 2025 and March 2026
-
Creative Economy: Support creative sectors by fostering entrepreneurship, skills development, job creation and sustainability. Priority will be given to initiatives that build networks, creative spaces or platforms for collaboration and those that promote inclusivity and under-represented groups. The maximum project budget for proposals is £15,000. Activity should start and finish between October 2025 and March 2026
-
Circular Economy: Support the circular economy through projects that tackle waste, reuse materials, and/or promoting more efficient use of materials. Priority will be given to practical ideas that create local value, embedding these practices into everyday life, and work in partnership with local administrations and/or community organisations. We particularly encourage projects at a pilot stage, with an emphasis on using data to build and grow further. The maximum project budget for proposals is £15,000. Activity should start and finish between October 2025 and March 2026
-
Disability and Inclusion: Support initiatives that promote more inclusive approaches to disability. Projects should aim to improve understanding, access and rights for persons with disabilities. Projects which promote transitioning away from housing children with disabilities in large residential institutions and into foster- and family-based care will be particularly welcome. The maximum project budget for proposals is £15,000. Activity should start and finish between October 2025 and March 2026
How to submit bids
We invite project proposals for activity within the specified time frames. Proposals will need to identify a clear and complete set of objectives and relevant activities, with activity-based budget. Project proposals must have a clear purpose supported by achievable and measurable outputs (for example, events and reports) and outcomes – what the project aims to help address through its activity. The project costs can be in Kyrgyz soms or US dollars, but must give the equivalent value in pounds sterling.
Prepare the concept note of your proposal on your own template in Word in English and email it to:
UKin.KyrgyzRepublic@fcdo.gov.uk by 11.59pm Kyrgyzstan time on 5 September 2025.
Put ‘SPP: Project bid and name of your organisation’ in the subject field. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
Note that bidding is competitive and only selected projects will receive funding. The Embassy reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without incurring any obligation to inform the affected applicant/s of the grounds of such acceptance or rejection. Due to the volume of bids expected we will not be able to provide feedback on unsuccessful bids.
