Biography
Mike joined the IPO in 2003 and has spent the last 15 years working in policy roles within the organisation. These roles have focussed on both patents and copyright policy, both domestically and internationally. In 2012 Mike was seconded to the European Commission for two years working within the IP team, with exposure across industrial property rights.
Mike holds a Masters Degree in Biochemical Engineering, a Diploma in Business Administration, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Copyright law.

This role is responsible for all areas of domestic IP rights policy and legislation including Patents, Trade Marks, Designs and Copyright to support UK innovation through IP.
