Dave Morgan

Biography

Dave Morgan was sworn in as Deputy Governor of Bermuda in May 2025.

Prior to coming to Bermuda, Dave served as Deputy Governor for the Falkland Islands. He has worked for the UK Ministry of Defence and the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office since 1996 in a variety of roles covering policy development and delivery; international trade; and project management.

Previous positions include Assistant Head of Commercial for a UK MOD project team in Saudi Arabia; Assistant Head of the UK MOD supplier relations team managing a portfolio of major commercial partners; First Secretary Defence trade in Brunei and Indonesia; and First Secretary at the Governor’s Office in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Deputy Governor to Bermuda

The Deputy Governor is a senior diplomat and a key advisor to the Governor. The Deputy is responsible for the daily management of the Governor’s Office. In the absence of the Governor, they represent the UK’s interests as Acting Governor.
