- Head of Approvals Division, Military Aviation Authority
- Commander of the Expeditionary Air Wing during Operation UNIFIED PROTECTOR in Libya
- Director Defence Studies for the RAF
- Command of 100 Squadron
Director Military Aviation Authority
Director MAA responsibilities include:
- Responsible for regulating all Defence aviation activity, with a mission to enhance operational capability through modern, innovative air safety regulations and practices
- Setting regulations and providing air safety assurance to DG Defence Safety Authority
- Senior Operating Subject Matter Expert for the Military Aviation Authority across all divisions
- Leading and directing MAA strategy, delivery and development
- MOD link with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) for aviation regulatory matters
- MOD link with Industry for design, manufacturing, maintenance, modification and certification standards and Contractor Accountable Manager organisations
