An independent report and 6-month progress review by Frankie Sulke CBE, former Commissioner for Children’s Services in Bromley, to the Secretary of State for Education.

The reports follow an , which judged the overall effectiveness of Bromley’s children’s social care services as inadequate.

The commissioner’s 6-month progress review recommends that the council should be allowed to retain control of the delivery of its children’s social care services.

DfE issued a revised statutory direction to Bromley in September 2017.
