An independent report and 6-month progress review by Frankie Sulke CBE, former Commissioner for Children鈥檚 Services in Bromley, to the Secretary of State for Education.
The reports follow an , which judged the overall effectiveness of Bromley鈥檚 children鈥檚 social care services as inadequate.
The commissioner鈥檚 6-month progress review recommends that the council should be allowed to retain control of the delivery of its children鈥檚 social care services.
DfE issued a revised statutory direction to Bromley in September 2017.
