You can use this form to notify the Environment Agency:听

• if you have sold a boat that is registered to use Environment Agency waterways (River Thames, Medway Navigation and Anglian Waterways)听
• with new contact details for an owner of a currently registered boat听
• of a request to refund a registration charge听

This form should only be used by the current registered owner of a boat.听

If you do not notify the Environment Agency about a change in the boat鈥檚 ownership, you will continue: 听

• to be responsible for its registration 听听
• paying any charges due听

Before you start听

You need to know:听

• the boat name 听
• registration number听

If you are notifying about a change of ownership, you will need to know:听

• the new owner鈥檚 name, address, and contact details听听
• date of sale听

If you are notifying about a refund request, you may need to know:听

• date boat permanently left the waterway听
• where the boat is now听听
• date gold licence purchased听
• gold licence/Canal and River Trust index number听
• trade exemption business name听
• date moved onto trade exemption听
