  • Affecting Over 10m licence categories A (11) and A (Islands) (12) and B (31), and 10m & Under licence categories A (91) and A (Limited) (94)

1.2 2. Insertion of Small-eyed Ray (RJE) Sentinel Fishery Condition {#2-insertion-of-small-eyed-ray-rje-sentinel-fishery-condition}

  • Affecting Over 10m licence schedules A (11), A (Islands) (12), A (Pelagic) (17), B (31), and C (41), and 10m & Under licence schedules A (91), A (Limited) (94), and A (91) (PO)

In Over 10m Schedules: SENTINEL FISHERY FOR SMALL-EYED RAY IN ICES DIVISION 7E

  1. As set out in Part 1 of the annex to this licence, the vessel may not fish for, retain on board, or land small-eyed ray (Raja microocellata) in ICES Division 7e. 

Condition 31 does not apply to a vessel which has been authorised in writing by the Marine Management Organisation to fish for small-eyed ray where such fishing is carried out in accordance with the authorisation given.

In 10m & Under schedules:

SENTINEL FISHERY FOR SMALL-EYED RAY IN ICES DIVISION 7E

  1. As set out in Part 1 of the annex to this licence, the vessel may not fish for, retain on board, or land small-eyed ray (Raja microocellata) in ICES Division 7e. 

Condition 23 does not apply to a vessel which has been authorised in writing by the Marine Management Organisation to fish for small-eyed ray where such fishing is carried out in accordance with the authorisation given.

1.3 3. Scallop Effort Days for Q3 {#3-scallop-effort-days-for-q3}

Western Water scallop effort days set to 70 days for Q3 (00:01 hrs 1st July 2024 – 23:59 30th September 2024)
