You need to apply for a capital grants plan with the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) before you can use and claim this capital item.Ìý

Once you have your agreement, complete the grey squirrel species management plan template to:Ìý

  • assess the impact that grey squirrel are having on your landÌý

  • record the control and monitoring methods you will useÌý

  • create a map of your holding where you will control and monitor grey squirrelÌý

The completed template and map will be your grey squirrel species management plan.ÌýÌý

Get your plan approvedÌý

You need to get your grey squirrel species management plan template approved by your local Forestry Commission operational delivery team hub. You should do this once you get your capital grants plan agreement with RPA.Ìý
