Details

This standard rules permit allows you to operate a construction, demolition and excavation waste transfer station.

You can apply for this standard rules permit if:Ìý

  • your activity meets the rules set out in the permitÌý

  • you can manage the potential risks as set out in the generic risk assessmentÌý

The charges for applying for this standard rules permit are:Ìý

  • £2,641 for a new standard rules permit applicationÌý

  • £792 for a minor variation to the permitÌý

  • £2,529 to transfer the permitÌý

  • £1,585 to surrender the permitÌý

There is also an annual subsistence charge of £1,920 for the standard rules permit.Ìý

If you cannot comply with the new standard rules permit you will need to apply to vary your permit into a bespoke permit. You must usually apply within 3 months of the date the standard rules was published (18 December 2024). We have extended this to 27 June 2025.ÌýExtension to comply with new standard rules permits RPS 331.
