This impact assessment on the UK-India Free Trade Agreement builds on the analysis that was published in the technical note of the preliminary economic impacts of the UK-India Free Trade Agreement. The purpose of the impact assessment is to provide Parliament and the public with information on the potential economic impacts of the agreement.

This includes an assessment of impacts on the UK’s regions and nations, sectors, employment, environment, consumers and businesses as well as the potential impacts on developing countries.
