Unlocking Space for Investment (USI), an initiative backed by the UK Space Agency, aims to catalyse private sector investment to support the growth of the UK space sector. The programme addresses key barriers to investment through targeted interventions and strategic networking.

Our Goals:听

  • Enhance Business Readiness: Prepare space businesses for investment opportunities.听

  • Strengthen Investor Confidence: Build trust and confidence among investors.听

  • Expand Financing Options: Explore diverse financing solutions to support growth in the UK space sector.听

  • Enhance Investor-Business Connections: Foster strong relationships between investors and space businesses.

Industry Questionnaire for Industry Support Programme

Unlocking Space for Investment (USI) is preparing for the next phase of delivering industry support initiatives. To ensure we design the right solutions and maximise the benefits for the sector, we want to gather insights on what is most beneficial to support your business to secure investment and scale.

To date, USI has delivered industry support via the Business Pathway. Feedback has been positive, and we aim to build on these successes. The USI team would like to understand your priorities around educational and upskilling modules for becoming investor-ready.听

From previous iterations of the programme, the need for bespoke support emerged as a strong area of feedback from industry participants. We also want to understand what specific tailored support the space industry accesses or would like to access, with a particular focus on growth-stage companies.听听

We are considering how best to integrate advisory services and business consulting, primarily sell-side and corporate finance advisory, into the USI programme. Your responses to will help us shape the support we provide throughout FY25 and beyond.听听
