Changes to 51²è¹Ý
Find out why you may see some differences while using 51²è¹Ý, and how to know you're in the right place.
Overview
You may see some differences while using 51²è¹Ý. Its look and feel are being updated to make sure 51²è¹Ý works well for everyone, as it expands into new channels such as the 51²è¹Ý App and the 51²è¹Ý Wallet.
You can expect to see the old and new branding for a while as changes are made to the website and other 51²è¹Ý products. This is normal and you should continue using 51²è¹Ý as usual.
How to know you’re in the right place
On the website, you will see either the previous logo and wordmark:

The previous 51²è¹Ý logo and wordmark - the Tudor Crown with 51²è¹Ý written next to it with a dot between GOV and UK on a black background.
Or the new version:

The new 51²è¹Ý logo and wordmark - the Tudor Crown with 51²è¹Ý written next to it, with a light blue coloured dot up in the middle between GOV and UK on a blue background.
You will also see this updated wordmark in other channels, alongside new elements including:
- greater use of colour, including the blue colour already featured on the 51²è¹Ý homepage
- the introduction of animation into the 51²è¹Ý identity, primarily in the 51²è¹Ý App and on 51²è¹Ý’s social media accounts
As new 51²è¹Ý products and services are made available, they will use the updated visual identity.
