Hazard
The product presents a risk of fire as the compressor wiring harness may be damaged due to contact with the support drum wheel. As a result, the product may overheat during normal use, potentially causing it to ignite and start a fire.
The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
Corrective action
The manufacturer has initiated a modification programme.
Owners are warned to stop using the product immediately and contact the manufacturer to arrange for a modification to take place. The product should not be used until the modification has taken place. If the plug is accessible, switch off and unplug the appliance.
