Anson, the Royal Navy's latest Astute Class attack submarine, has officially been named in a virtual ceremony at BAE Systems' Barrow-in-Furness shipyard today.

The Royal Navy’s fourth Astute Class submarine sailed from the BAES shipyard in Barrow in-Furness for her new home at Her Majesty’s Naval Base Clyde back in April 2020.
