Withdraw funds from your Customs Declaration Service cash account
Make a request to withdraw funds from your cash account.
You can request a withdrawal from your Customs Declaration Service cash account using our online service or form. We can pay the funds into a business or personal bank account based in the UK.
What you need
You will need to tell us:
- the details of your company, including contact information
- your EORI number
- your details and role in the company
- the amount you want to withdraw
- the bank details
- the reason for the withdrawal of funds
You’ll also need the:
- cash account number if you make the request online
- name of the cash account holder if you make the request by post
How to request a withdrawal
Request online
You should get all your information together before you start.
You’ll need to sign in with your Government Gateway user ID and password (if you do not have a user ID, you can create one when you first try to sign in).
You can save your progress and come back later.
Request by post
Fill out a withdrawal request form (CDSCAW1) and send it to the address on the form.
Email HMRC to ask for the form in Welsh.
How long it takes
We aim to process all UK requests within 5 working days of receiving them. Your funds will be in your bank account within 5 working days following processing.
